White porcelin
looming
lost inside
I am
this hollow sanctuary

The water has gone cold an hour ago

The tears which grace
my face
fall freely now
salty and bitter upon my lips
have long since mingled
with water that barely shrouds
this shell
which I call myself

Standing but ten feet away
we are one million miles apart

Swallowed hard. Choked up is how this feels. This is not a fun place to be, and it brought tears to my eyes just to read. Sorry you have to feel this even enough to have to write it if it's not a personal experience of your own. Whoever feels this knows it's not a place to want to visit much less have to live with it, and live there.

Bless ya,

You're not supposed to let your bath water go tepid. It's the HOT bath that relaxes!

hey wonderful write... i really enjoyed it... the ending was awesome it was the killer part, all endings have to be really good cuz they leave you with a memory of it.. if you understood that, i barely did but im sleep deprived so its ok right?

great poem, sometimes it does seem that way, funny how being so close to someone brings distance at the same time.

Sometimes miles are short !

Though we dont know about it.
If maybe we sometimes just pushed abit extra i think we would win.
Though its only a thought of going to were we seek.

Nice poem
