and each word of your betrayal was like sandpaper to his skin agonizingly painful scraping away what little manhood he had left he leaned against the wall for support and slowly each word burdened him until he crumbled as if atlas had laid the world upon his shoulders slowly a lone tear streaked down his cheek carving a glistening ravine in its wake he lifted his gaze to me, biting his lip his stare felt like tiny daggers piercing my flesh and all I could do was watch him as your actions shattered the barriers of his world... hope it was worth it |
