So put your gun in my face
Let the bullets fly, into this space
You’ve got your reason
But you’ve got no “why”
This is just a clash
A schoolyard bash
Shoot it up for cash
So put your gun in my face
Let the bullets fly, into this space
You’ve got your answer
But you don’t know why
This is just a grudge
A classroom smudge
You became the judge
So put your gun away today
All the metal won’t make it go away
You’ve got your soul
And you just want out
There’s another way
The world doesn’t have to
End today…

Very, truly interesting.

You may only be one person to the world, but you may also be the world to one person.

All the metal won't make it go away.
I loved this line. Very true hatter.
All kids are not so ignorant.
I'd like to think I'm living proof.

I tried to take the subject matter and make it fresh, I hope I accomplished that.  Although this poem is very in your face, I think in the end it's just saying there are other ways.  A gun and a bullet isn't the way to solve problems.  Thanks all.
