We should all have one day, A few mere hours a week, Where we once again turn inwards, And touch on the peace that we seek. Those few hours are soul food, A special sacred time to reflect, To sort out all problems and worries, And the hurt and anger deflect. A little meditation, Light a candle or two, Listen to enlightening music, Already the hurt is lifting, I can feel it - can't you? Talk it out with your special someone, A burden shared is a burden lifted, Then be there for them too, And together you'll release your lives are gifted. Then when cleansed, Time for the positive reinforcments, What good HAVE you done this week, How did you make a difference? It may be only little things, But when gathered and assessed, You'll find they amounted to something, You've eased someone else's unrest. Do this little task weekly, Replenish your soul food, And soon enough you shall see, You've made a difference that is good.. *War produces one thing - Cemetaries. And in cemetaries there are no enemies!* ~Isis~~Sovereign of the Spirit. |

Still at it I see....I have never been able to reach your level of purity. Maybe someday.  But until then I'll be the one lingering in the dark catching whomever crosses my path. If you can remember me, you'll remember that it's fitting. lol Well this is beautiful just like all your poems. Giving out a touching and often ignored message. But you tell it so well how can we ignore it? Good morning dear sweet Lady, I see you are sharing food for thought again and you do it so very well, my mom always told me to get up EVERY morning and do something personal for your self because later on when life gets packed with STUFF you will need it the most to keep things balenced, I care for everyone else and bypass my own personal needs MOST of the time, but coming to passions is my one thing that is totally for me, you are very wise my friend and have such a loving heart, thank you,  Cerenity"God doesn't have to be reminded that we exist.
