This was pretty powerful.......quite interesting. I really don't know what to make of it. nicely done though.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

Hon you ok? If this is an apology to us it is certainly accepted gratefully and with understanding.. but the last paragraph has me a little worried.. Are you ok? Dopey_Dope ... just as a word of explanation, i left a message on this board a couple of nights ago that, well, to say the least was offensive in nature ... i just felt i owed everyone here an apology, even if they hadn't read that post ... hope that helps ... thanks for reading and commenting. Isis ... please don't have pity or worry for me ... i'm sooooo normal it would bore you to tears ... once in a while the frustration of my poetry gets the better part of me and this time i just lashed out and thought that it would help, but obviously it didn't ... i certainly appreciate your concern and for reading ... i've been writing "Dark" poetry for a fairly short time now and the more i read and the more i write, the more i come to realize we aren't even scratching the surface of what "Dark" really means ... thanks again for the concern ... i'll try to behave myself .... Very deep and powerful writing here. As I neared the end, my heart tightened with worry, too. Then I read your comment and sighed a breath of relief. Whew! this is so incredibly awesome. it's the first post of yours I've read, and i love it. No need to appologize. If ya had to do that, I woulda had to have done that millions of times. they accept you for who you are here, and theres no better place. |

MA, I liked this right down to the ending and the last bitter pill... Thought it was great and a great apology tho I missed the post that incurred this piece. Thought you did a terrific job with this. You are right most know nothing about how dark dark can be. And I have found that the most normal boring ones can write and think and act out the darkest. ma , I did not read you post that caused this apology nor does it matter...seems that frustration when you dwell in a dark world is a common thing...I know that I know it well, seems it be one of my friends, along with the unforgiving sorrow!! Your words are so powerful that I only long to write as you do and I have been writting dark poetry for over 10 years now. a-alibaster ... thanks fo reading and your comments ... as far as motivation is concerned, it's comes from reading, reading, and more reading (did i mention reading?) ... then imagination takes over and the flow is constant 'til the end of a piece ... "Apologies" was written in a 20-minute spree of just letting my mind go where i'm most afraid ... hope that helps. |
