Dreams,
like toys,
left by a child,
sun bleached,
in the back yard.

Friends,
hopes,
often dim,
visited again,
memory's narrow hallways.

Lost,
lovers kisses,
young embrace,
forgotten tastes,
of stolen time.

Thoughts,
like nails,
in the flesh,
of a coffin,
lock us in.

Words,
like coins,
lightly tossed,
in a fountin,
past recall.

Prmosises,
made,
but not kept,
like distant thunder,
on a dry summers eve'.

Very nice, liked the flow and set-up.

then everything is
our thoughts and feelings

A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness.
