This one was originally written in '97. I did a big rewrite about six months ago. Hope you like it. Never to Roam Keeping to the shadows as he tracks Frantic eyes stare at her back He watches as she heads for home Waiting till she’s all alone Never seen but always there Sensing him she turns to stare Heart beat pounding in her chest Hands clasped tightly at her breast Adrenaline pumping in his veins He does not feel the pounding rain How could she betray him with another? He vows that she will be his lover! Yearning for his sweet revenge Fingers slide along blades edge Her eyes should be for him alone Never be allowed to roam He walks unhindered in her house Creeping quieter than a mouse She sleeps deeply in her room She cannot sense impending doom Climbing gently onto her bed Dagger placed beside her head Her eyes should be for him alone Never be allowed to roam The blade cuts deep into her eye Terrified screams spill into night sky Her eyes should be for him alone Never be allowed to roam He holds them tight within his hands Now he feels more like a man Her eyes are now for him alone Never be allowed to roam He looks and smiles at the mess he’s made Licking her blood from the blade Her eyes belong to him alone Never will they ever roam |
