the harsh snow wind whips against my face
i turn away
my tears slowly crystallizing as they run down my cheek
its been a year since you left me
a year since you've been gone
a year since that bullet peirced your perfect skin
a year since my life was ruined on that terrible day
why would they take such a perfect angel like you?
why wouldnt they take me insted
i would gladly give my life if it meant saving yours
but its to late for that now
its to late to hold you in my arms one last time and say i love you
i put the roses down on your grave
you always did like roses....

i guess there's nothing anyone can say to make your loss less unbearable.. but writing poetry in itself already a comfort for some.. i hope by writing this you'll heal albeit slowly..
