I cannot think through the mindless fog My heart don’t love, it just pumps out smog I need a little air in these iron lungs I just keep climbing up the endless rungs And I’d love to tell you the way I feel The words just burn away and peel This pain creates the most foul stench As a corpse bent over a piano bench These walls aren’t listening anymore I may as well be just another door I’ve tried to be happy again so many times I’d have a million dollars if they were dimes I’m sick of all of this But there’s a hole And there’s a hole I’m sick of all of this But there’s a hole And there’s a hole It’s sucking me in It’s doing me in It’s hurting me eyes It’s burning the skies I’m sick of all of this But there’s a hole And there’s a hole I’m like a fish Inside the bowl Inside the hole I’m sick of this But there’s a hole And there’s a hole My hearts a bomb Inside a room Inside the hole Blowing up It’s blowing up The hole is now a welt I haven’t felt I haven’t felt So lost before… |
