Here in the relentless dead of night, they struggle eternally to a repeated performance of the heart's cry within spirits. Mere faded memories of tenderness that haunt fallen lovers. Embracing with no touch, kissing and yet no caress. Lover's sighs meshed with no definition into sleepless breath with a repeating of voices speaking and saying nothing. Hear the silence of the sleeping victims futilely pouring out, for all that was grievously lost is now conjured forth. They are but vague whispers on the howling, accusing wind. Becoming blended silhouettes against the dim ash smeared sky. Grasping vainly to long ago lost desires of a moment passed, being tossed on the lonely breeze with great casual disregard. Their ghostly escense, with the rolling of all life's continual tide, project meaninglessly and fragile on the scrolls of eternity. Desperate and pathetic souls imprinted on invisible twinklings, are but echoes fading in and out to the capturing of time. by Mystic Requiem ©2000 12-19-00 |

Beautiful hon!!!!! But I hope personally I shall be more than a mere echo!!! I want to be a voice that is heard, appreciated and remembered. I need to believe we are more than you described... But again this is darkly beautiful with wonderous imagery Isis *War produces one thing - Cemetaries. And in cemetaries there are no enemies!* ~Isis~~Sovereign of the Spirit. |

Thank you Isis. Yes, I believe we are more than mere echoes. This is simply only imagination. Most be a throw back from my Poe days. Although, for those who do not know God...perhaps this is their fate? *wondering* [This message has been edited by mystic requiem (edited 02-27-2001).] |
