Hey guys, miss me? Prolly not, but here's my first poem like I told Spiritrider in Feelings. ____________________________________ Looking out the window, dancing on the rain. Flowing with the streaks, falling with the pain. A heart so young but so very hard Left broken and bleeding, forever scarred. And now, when time calls for me to cry Suddenly all thoughts and emotions go awry. Impossible! Impossible! I cannot feel! It's abhorrible! How hard can it be to shed a tear? When it's all I've done in all these years. Must I be forced to blink the drops With blinding sand that pound nonstop? Emotion leaves me when I need her most, How cruel is she! How very morose! How cowardly is Strength to flee When he is beckoned in desperate plea. The only things that wrap me tight Are the unknown hands of dark and light. But bittersweet is the embrace And I find no wrath, but find no grace. Swirling free in seas of gray Without my feelings I'm lost. Astray. Walking blind till it's too late, For Judgment Day has sealed my fate. And only after all these years, Do freely flow down all my tears. So look out the window. Gaze upon the rain. And watch me fade and fall in deep this neverending cycle all over again. [This message has been edited by IcyFlamez89 (06-15-2003 10:13 PM).] |

George, though this is sad, it's a very good poem. I like the way you rhymed it. Hugs to you Ethel |
