The Dystopian Snowmen The dystopian snowmen gather at the top of the highest peak in the land to look down on their domain of things beyond their reach yet easily seen. Eyes flicker with a satanic blessing chilled bone-ish hands pierce the air planning for some undesirable outcome... to the world an undesirable outcome at least. Guided by nothing more their snowy edifice of a body moves; less like dancing and more like cursing the land they move on, but one day the cursed will turn to gold. As the snowmen melt their solid turns to a liquid much like water but lacking the luster, the shine of polished life. |

Sick! I love the images here! Very eerie too! & confusing. You've quite won my respect here, IMHO the best kind of poem is like a puzzle: what exactly does it mean? This combines both that sense of mystery and the eerie imagery to make a fantastic poem. good job -matt |

Good poem, but I sort of felt it could use a bit more on clarity, though not so as to lose its obscure nature. Perhaps the second and third stanzas might well relate better to the poem itself, rather then dissolve away the meaning in odd twists and turns. But like I said, good poem nonetheless! - a hollow man |
