I lost myself, you know those circles around my soul, as my winded night of dreary came. Collapsed upon the ballroom fever, to whisk her scarf around my shoulder, as I tamely cradle her devine sculpture. We walk on seasoned trails, falling prey to the changed shadow, but I regain her possession through one windy scowl. Try my hand, take it to the eve of spring, as she subsides in her field of dreams. A field that I grow upon, while her eyes contain me, keeping me faintly somber. She relies on my right shoulder, my left to far to nest on, but both a necessity to our bond. A bond like an apple fathered by a tree like clover. |
