My arms are getting heavy treading water
As the shore pushes me further and further away
Getting closer to the deep end of the ocean
Against the current, praying for rain

Praying for a way to make it through another day
Or for the sea to swallow me, and end the pain
A storm is building on the horizon
And I'm praying for it to come my way

And I agree with the others: the ocean imagery is very powerful. Keep writing!
