ROLLER COASTER Up and Down my heart goes, loving with all I've got. How happy I am when you notice me, how sad when I think you've forgot. This ride it goes on forever, and at times I just want out. Loop 'da Loop, around again. What is this all about? Together forever, then just friends. You say you still love me, but then the ride ends. No more phone calls, not even a quick letter. Is that too hard? If I forgot you, would that be better? Yes, the ride was worth it, but the fun ended too fast. I want to ride again. I want to make it last. Savor every loop and turn, appreciate the ride a little more. Let go of the screams freely, not cover my eyes like before! ~Up, downs, loops & turns, the ride of life itself. This was a great piece! To tell the truth I've been a lil afraid of roller coasters since one time it stopped when we were at the peak of one hill (scary cuzz i was stupid enuff to look down). I mean I still go but there's always that fear of it abruptly stopping when you least expect it. To the roller coaster of love and life I have a similar feeling. It catches you off guard and when your starting to enjoy the thrill if ends, leaving you in a most vulnerable spot....anyway, I'm babbling, so bak on topic this one realtes to so many. Can't wait to read more of your poems. |

hey, I love this poem...it explains so much, and its what i'm feeling about my current boyfriend....he only calls once in a while ..and theres times when everything fine and then the ride stops....thank you for sharing ur lovely work..Happy easter to u too.. Manda |

Thanx every1!!! You ppl are too kind!! Yea this roller coaster analogy explains most of my relationships & my life in general, but the good times outweigh the bad by far so that helps, not dwelling on the bad stuff & lookin forward to the good!!!
