All of these lies cover me killing every cell within me. I percieve every one through my ears. It hurts to have to penetrate all this mendacity in order to be liked. I lie to cover what makes me cry. I lie to your eyes just so you will leave cause I just can't take anymore of this lifeless talking. I brought all this to me because my selfish being has errupted into more decieving and more mistrust. Everyone lies to cover up their torchured lives. We wear a mask with smile upon smiles with movement and touch. Such walking brings an irregular taste to my mouth and soon it spreads and we are all fooling ourselves. This world just gets worse with spinning obstacles hiding what we need. The sky is the only sanity I have to breathe. -Kara <>< |

Great job as usual kara. I feel and believe the words you say in this poem and know that for someone and even perhaps everyone they are true. we all hide and lie to cover our true lives up and i think you did a great job of revealing the lies that we tell. |
