TO LIVE...
It shouldn't really matter,
half empty, half full,
but rather to work,
at making it whole.
To live is to see light,
in all that is dark.
To find peace amongst the silence.
To love a broken heart.
To see the truth,
behind a lie.
To savor life,
not just let it pass by.
To learn the reason,
behind a tear,
instead of just worrying,
about wiping it clear.
To give a smile,
to those who are sad.
To laugh a little,
before you get too mad.
To stop and think,
before you begin.
To lose a couple,
before you win.
Rain or shine,
hugs 'n kisses or burns,
slow down sometimes,
enjoy life's twists and turns.
Find Completeness.
Give it your best try.
Be open and forgiving.
Live before you die!

Well, what can I say, love it. I like the opptimistic touch of the poem. In some way it reminded me of Hamlet's soliloquy
To be, or not to be,
there is the line To die,-to sleep,-to sleep! perchance to dream...
maybe I just associate your title with this line, dunno...

how will i laugh tomorrow
when i can't even smile today
