I know it's contradictive to some of my previous poems, but I'm feeling VERY dark today.

You took away my sadness,
You brushed away my tears.
You silenced all my anguish,
And casted out me fears.

You led me out the shadows,
And walked me to the light.
You gave me joy and sunhine,
And drove away the Night.

You thought it'd make me happy,
And for a while I thought so too,
But now I've come to see
That I'm better of in blue.

I miss the cruel darkness,
I long for my hardened heart.
I want to feeze in grief
And again be torn apart.

So give me back my pain,
And the tears that follow next
Cover me with suffering
That makes me so purplexed.

Being happy is so hard,
Laughter burns my ears
The supple touch of gentleness
Feels like sharpened spears.

Return to me my misery,
Make me cold as ice,
For I never thought that darkness
Could ever feel so nice...

Your the fist Ive come across who actually embraces the night, the pain, and the grief, when did you stop resisting? (jus curious)

I am feeling that way lately, so i can empathize with you on this one...the light couldn't igisist without the darkness. People sometimes define thier reality through pain and suffering.
