is it any more than an illusion
by which all this comes to conclusion
the pain i thought had gone away
you had but only kept away
but now your leaving so it seams
like all those long forgotten dreams
seem so clear when i awake
but fade with every move i make

you smile and say i feel too much
i say il never feel enough
and if that is my only sin
i might just make it to heaven

how much longer will i cry
for you and why you said goodbye
and didnt wait for my reply
but merely looked up at sky
walking out into the snow
away from me
and all you know

but parhaps if i could see inside
id see the love you so well hide
in the darkest corners of your soul
that little piece that makes you whole
and in my corner i guess il be
in that space youv given me

I don't know that the pain ever goes away for good, but we are always able to move on. A very moving poem. I enjoyed "feeling" it.
