Burning tears,
stream down my face.
Please let me leave,
this darkened place.
Why won't they stop?
When did they start?
Please help me heal,
my broken heart!
Please lift these tears,
from my swollen cheek.
Please help me stand,
my legs are too weak.
Please take this horrid,
taste from my tongue.
Please hold me here,
if I try to run.
Please take the sword,
from my chest.
Please understand,
that I tried my best.
Please let me get through,
the next couple of days.
Please take away,
this gloomy haze.
Please listen when I say,
I love you and don't want you to go.
Please embrace these words,
because it's the only truth I know!

Very well said. The hurts lessen in time, but scars remain - look upon it as character building - life goes on. I voted for this.

Thanx for the vote Spirit--I believe that everything in life happens for a reason, I've grown from this, learned from this, & took everything away from it that I could & now it is time for me to move on--It has to get better--lol--it can't get much worse!
