Rose Petals & Thorns Your love is like a rose, it's open then it's closed. Double-sided, intertwining, slowly dieing & then reviving. When I think it's dead, it shows some life again. Roots are sprouting, no more pouting. Satin petals caress my skin. Must be gentle, delicate petal, falling apart in my hand. I've lost it once again! A thorn is stuck, blood is drawn, I have no luck, no green thumb. Sprinkle some droplets, to show that I care, it looks pretty lifeless, but the seed is still there. I'll come back tomorrow, my little flower, & bring you back, with all my power! ELMO [This message has been edited by qtpieelmo (04-04-2003 04:36 PM).] |

my favorite of yours that i have read. it nice the way you use the color for different parts of the poem. but more than that, the tone and diction were just great. -majnu |

(smiles) Yay! Oh Katie, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I just love the shape, I wish the color could be in the book too as truly the love all resides in the root of the rose, where if it is in the soil of the heart it is destined to bloom again! (big hugggssssss) I love this, sweet friend, you have my botanic vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Katie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
