Broken Hearted

What happened to the perfection?
To the hole you filled in my empty heart?
You made me feel again,
Showed me love again.
You put the bounce back in my step,
The twinkle back in my eyes.
Now I’m back where I started.
Empty, numb, cold.
A year lost.
A year of happiness.
Thrown away like a piece of trash.
You were my whole world,
I thought I was yours.
Now you won’t even give me the time of day.
How could something that felt like everything now be nothing?
Is it even worth living?
Can I find another worth giving?
What happened to us?
