              No Place For Dreams

In this city of light
We have forgotten
How to shine
In this city of gold
We bargain and sell
Our dreams away

There’s no place for dreams
In this world

In this city of night
Decaying and rotten
are our minds
In this city of mould
‘fore heaven and hell
the darkness slays

Let’s create a midnight world
Of broken dreams

Welcome to Passions

This is a very nice, though dark, debut piece. I enjoyed the read and look forward to reading more from you.

I like it. I have one about the city, but I would'nt use it unless requested.
The city is dark. The light is all fake and the air above is always out of reach. I agree with this dream.
