NOT SO PERFECT ME!! I am a Perfectionist. You may not see. But everything I do, is never good enough to me. I am a failure, in this place. Bittersweet, is all I taste. My glass is always half empty, never full. Always the negative, this I know. Too much thinking, second guessing. Over and over, always messing. No matter how many times, it's never done. I'm never satisfied, so I give up and run. If it's not spur of the moment, then thoughts will flow. I'll hide all my feelings. I will not go. Don't want to be a burden, don't want others to grin, because of all that's not perfect, inside me, within! So, I sit up all night, rarely sleep. I question my whole life, and then I weep. Do they just pretend to care? Feel sorry for me? Am I blind to the truth? Why can't I see? Please help me trust! Please help me be! Please let me rest! Please comfort me! ~And all is perfect in the land of make-believe~  "I don't know the key to success but the key to failure is trying to please everybody!" Wow, there are so many lines in this poem that really expressed what I feel!!! ...I'll hide all my feelings...--love it ...because of all that's not perfect, inside me...--nearly made me cry ...I am a failure,in this place... ...well I don't think so at all !!!  how will i laugh tomorrow when i can't even smile today [This message has been edited by MellonCollie (04-19-2003 12:26 PM).] |

Yea thanx MellonCollie--This is how I often feel--I'm a very shy person & it usually takes a lot before I begin to open up to someone--It's hard after getting your feelings crushed so many times--But life goes on & it gets better eventually  ELMO [This message has been edited by qtpieelmo (04-19-2003 04:25 PM).] |

It does!! I promise Life has its up or downs, but like a rollercoaster, you gotta enjoy it, cause you're not always gonna be up & luckily you won't always be down either!! ELMO |
