"quivers of nude"

the bats awaken
with hunger for blood
their slumber forsaken
in cavernous flood

a spell for the ages
from eyes golden green
ubiquitous cages
of souls that have been

lusting for vigor
his shivering bite
squeezes your trigger
into the black night

as fever is driven
to quivers of nude
your essence is given
as his is renewed

beyond all wisdom
of pleasure and pain
delirium waves come
again and again

virginity swollen
in absence of light
is innocence stolen
by bloodless delight

the bats are descending
as church bells proclaim
new converts pretending
the night is to blame

"The greatest of all faults is to be conscious of none."
Thomas Carlyle

I'm shooting right from the gut.....This is absolutely brilliant. Did I like it? You betcha! Of course I'm not stepping out in the dark of night in the near future.

Thanks, Spirit.
It follows another "vein" if you'll pardon the pun.
Sort of a sequel to "bitten" a post from Dark 2001.
