Pounding me in the hallway Transparent faeries flutter above Kiss my cheek with Honeydew drops of terror Then they expire And fall shriveled in my quaking hand The only movement I'm allowed to make in that moment Is the closing of my hand Crushing their little lifeless bodies Hearing the bones snap I turn my head and vomit My hands are moist with what seems like water But realization takes hold of me This is liquid from the leaking faeries A cold sweat comes over me Abdomen flex and I vomit over my shoulder again Waves of terror like those of tidal Envelop me when a faery kisses me With those Honeydew terror lips I have to crush them My evil inside wills it And I churn again When I realize that this evil inside Is making me like this. "Give me you thoughts. Good, bad, but not INDIFFERENT!" Oh yeah, I agree completely on that. I didn't really connect with this piece. Interesting narrative though. "I don't need to scream for you to deem me aggravation." |

Darkness, this is an interesting concept that is well played out in this piece. For me, it prompts the question, "If in destroying good we are aware of the force evil, why then do we continue to pursue evil's path and destroy good?" I like your use of faeries as the sparkle of light that must be crushed. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
