Time Is Ticking

Time is ticking,
sticking to my mind,
One second goes by,
Another blows by me,

What did I miss?
What did I see?
One minute goes by,
The world crumbles before me.

Time is lost,
In a never ending scene,
Destruction and chaos,
...death it seems.

One day goes by,
All the memories,
All the lies,
You cry,

Wondering why?
Did you waste so time?
Did others die?
Time is ticking...

You grow of old age,
Tell wise things and tails,
One lifetime goes by,
And your lies - your memories...

Slip away...

I like this.. definitely a thinker.
Especially since when I'm lost in thoughts my motto is that time stands still
