The love, it disappeared, The day I met you I fell in love, And the thought of losing you was something I always feared, I know to every story there is an end, And thats something I didn't want for our love, My little broken heart I cannot mend, I'll never forget your love, oh so sweet, And the hugs I always wanted, The kisses that I need, Phone calls until all hours of the night, Your gentle touch, that made everything so right, The way I felt safe with you, And how you made me no longer feel sad and blue, Your smile that touched me in a special way, The jokes you told to give me a brighter day, All the sunshine you brought into my life, To make all those cloudy days, nice and bright, The stars in your eyes, Knowing you were mine... We've came to the last page, The book is at an end, Why do good things have to end before they get better? If I could have one more day, Maybe even one more hour, Just to tell you everything, To tell you how much I love you, And I wish you could see, How much I still want to be with you, But you don't want to be with me, Why do you act as if we never had a love? I considered you a gift from God, My angel sent from above, Please understand how I feel, And know that what I say is truthful and real, For you, I wish I could wait forever, And forever I will try to do, Cause your the only one for me, Christopher, I love you, All along, I knew from the moment I saw you, you were the one I'd need, So instead of chasing my dream, This time, my dream can catch me, I know now, I have no more tears left to cry, Because as of now, I just want to die, Without you I've lost my way, But I'll keep pressing forward everyday, And I'll wait until the day you say, "Hey, I messed up, I wasn't done loving you yet." |

Very well expressed here. I think we all know the feeling in the words *I wasn't done loving you yet." Soon you will let go, but until that time..... stay strong!! Hugs, Dark A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness. |

Thanks for the replies everyone, this poem was actually written for my sister who just recently had a REALLY hard break up with her VERY serious boyfriend. So I was pretty upset about it myself just because I grew so fond of him being around and he was just like my brother. Tracey- Yeah, that is very wierd you had the same situation. Kinda freaky!! lol. JamesMicheal- I totally agree with your comment. thank you all for the comments. |

i read this peom earlier today i could believe how much it touched me it reminded me of when my ex boy friend and me broke up it was peacefull but we both still love each other i know thats not 100% what the poems about that its the memory it brought back for me |
