A little poem summing up some of the tough issues I'm dealing with right now in life.  Perhaps it may serve as some proverb to help others...

It's in simplicity that I find
the worst in people
be what you can't be
attain what you can't attain
take what is not yours
It's in complexity that I find
reality and questions
take each at a time
each day has enough problems
write it down for now
If I'm to change course now
who am I to dispute history?
If this path isn't my path
then I am slaying myself.

"If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh"

I liked this one. It poses some of the same thoughts in my own mind and it's open enough so that others can relate no what there problem may be. Good write!

Regret not that which you have done,
Rather that which you haven't

i'll be honest. this peice was all over the place. you throw several ideas at us but don't develop them. with the skills you have previously shown i would say each idea could be a great peice in itself, or a great stanza of a larger peice.

a small note: proverbs are usually concise.
