Potholes dissolving into muddy canyons, pulled wheels to the ditch. I remember everything: the road and the car that carried me, the man; and the way his hand tasted as he muffled my cries. A culvert's flow rinsed blood, but couldn't dress naked skin. I don't know who found me. In a white room: nurses hid raining eyes and a plastic surgeon told me his hands didn't have the magic I needed. |

Welcome to the family. I actually read this on your website before you posted it. I was as struck by it now as I was just now. It's a gentle poem about a violent act. It's so well done! I look forward to reading a lot more from you. |

Your pen has a good touch for this sort of work. Not graphic, but still gets the message across. Enjoyed. "two hearts will build the foundation for one point of light |

I too, found this a very gentle poem. You tackle the subject matter very well. Thank you, and welcome to Dark Passions. -------------------------------------------------------------- What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. |
