Still as stone, still as breath
Broken fragments of a song
Time stands strangely still, as death
All hope as long since been gone

Dark of moon, dark of sun
Dark of despair, dark of night
Deeds have now been paid and done
Darkness now has conquered light

End of life, end of time
End of laughter, gaity, and fun
Where flowers once grew, grows filth and slime
All good has been overcome

Cold as winter, cold as ice
What once was found is lost again
Evil lived while Goodness died
Earth is now Evils domain

While I was writing this I felt like someone was looking over my shoulder.....probably just my way overactive imagination but still it freaked me out!!

Devils advocate here...
isn't death only/simply/horribly an potent tool of change, entropy?  Death isn;t bad, just Our fear/image/terror of it/him/her
Maybe/possibly/not???!!!

I Personaly like the Winter.
I personally feel There are some things I've lost I don't want to find again...
I believe the race is not for the swift, but for he who endures to the end... the strongest of the two... the smartest and most cunning...

Great Poem... I don't see it as a freaky one... but as a reminder...
