Sometimes I just want the black and white, the negative. I don't want the bench in the park to be so green, the sky to be so blue, the playground to be so multi-colored in every bright of vivid hue. I want the soft edges of gray only, lacking in the splash of rainbow, for it lulls the mind when thoughts of terror, red, wish to assail. WhiteRose "The first rule of poetry, write what you know." |
