On a whimsy of frolic
I crush soft petal folds
with rush of steel on tip of toe
such wilting never told.

sucking breath in raspy heaps
I feed myself to you
rising up to meet the pain
of selfless constitute.

I blow the winds in state of sin
Grim silence
(never held)
breaking ice with tender trite
of power trip in scale.

Adonis flight in deep midnight
I crucify my tears
to rise against midsummer winds
Just to have you near.

Just to have
a crown
for fear.

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

So much sadness here, devina,
and tempered beauty. *hug*
