The dark entanglement of webs hold me back from,
The light.
My mind won't tell me what it really,
Knows.
The clear blue sky turns a solid black.
Is it the end or will I be ,
Back?

This brought to mind a favorite song, by the late great George Harrison:

Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)

Give me love
Give me love
Give me peace on earth
Give me light
Give me life
Keep me free from birth
Give me hope
Help me cope, with this heavy load
Trying to, touch and reach you with,
     heart and soul

I enjoyed this very much!

That's a much better work than what I was reminded of.

An old cycle of poems (long since deleted, because their sheer nihilism is beyond even what I could take) called the spider princess about being caught on a web and slowly ingested, then made new into a spider myself.

I didn't like me very much. But I do like this poem, match.
