Words of a Depressed Spirit

Happiness

Happiness is that delusion experienced
by those who can't accept the harsh
reality that life is pain, sorrow, and hatred.

Joy is the rapture of a soul
in the arms of an invisible god,
a belief that there's some reasoning behind it.

Hell

Hell is the place dreampt up by those
who believe that our world is different
from ultimate evil and pain.

Satan is man's spirit veiled in superstition
and mystical dance, an image conjured up
by those wanting to believe they are 'good.'

Optimism

Optimism is yet another foolish belief
that things will somehow get 'better,'
as though that word defines some realistic concept.

Positive is the archaic mythical opposite
of negetive, the realm where things are 'good,'
where happiness is a realistic norm.

I have never lived in a world of happiness and i'd probably be too afraid to start now.But most people would rather believe everythings"good"then be strong and just accept the bad.

We seem to get along well, lol. Ever since the stuff going on in my life began this last year I have learned to leave my fairy tale world of optimism and enter the real world of pain and suffering.
