My cup runneth over with sunshine
From that intoxicating brew
Now the birds sing
And all the flowers are blooming.

Do I know what I see?

Sure.

"So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm

quote
"or do I?
(gotta smile...)"
gotta stay for just for a little while.
Sure, demand the overture.
Why would i dare to spy?
when the sky bleeds blue and spills into our day.
My paper cup fills with the deluge.

I'll wait...

and so demands a raconteur
as I wipe the sweat from brow...
an orchestrated overture
the silence sings before..allow
the angst to ring in ecstacy--
the note that rings too loud...
and shivers
up
then
down
the spine...

oh I wish it would..again...

Oh you've just got to,
love the serenity...
Blazing through distant
black holed sons.
The blades of the grass, scattered sparse.
The ants remind me of my authority.
We can have some more, Summer is in full bloom.
That viola is still tuning.

and oh, let's praise
the thing undone
all hail the wise chameleon!
in the light
it turns to white
and in the shadow
becomes one
with the darkness
in disguise
chameleon
in dusk of sigh...

(much fun, btw!   )

I see that your cup of intoxicating brew has spilled into serenity and chameleon, (I can picture them, mouths agape, like baby birds)
Where can I get a "40" of it?

~wranx

In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward".

I believe I have used the visual of an open mouthed baby bird--IN ADULT!!!

and hey, it's an inspiring poem, ain't it?

I came back to add, that I liked this much. Not sure if my answer was misconstrued or not, but was concerned that perhaps the author thought I answered only in jest.

no.

I liked the open-ended-ness (izzatawoid?) of this...anyhow...I did enjoy...and I thank also the chameleon for the fun...

Again, you humor me and entice me with your way of writing, News...This one was like Kerouac or Bukowski phasing into Robert Frost, and then saying ta 'ell with it, 'cause you're just you. (Do I know...sure)
Too cool.

News,
Nice, nasty (if you want it to be) poem.
I like that it gave off other lives too,
as other poems.
