My friends tell me that I'm wrong to love you the way I do. You belong to someone else so I have no right to you. It took one sweet kiss to know you're all I'll ever desire. And just one night together to set your heart on fire. Won't you tell her its over? What she wants can no longer be. The love you once shared is gone now your life is here with me. August 2002 |

If but only strength truly reigned You'd not have to ask this poem's question But since you did, Dee, I hope the answer is given (The right answer) I'm so here with this one "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm |

I've been on the orating end of this one for three years, and now my answer has been given to me. Funny how the "Grand Storyteller" works sometimes, as I thought if the three year situation wasn't to be, that neither was I to be after 33 years of trying, but the answer...ahh...my "light of an angel" without even having to try. You will have all the love that you are so deserved to have, Dee. You just gotta believe, want, and will it into existence. (And apparantly prayer helps?!?) |

your friends love you, and are always only looking out for ways to prevent you from getting hurt. but ultimately, they only want that which is going to make you happy. if the hurt is worth the possibility, then you keep going for it, but remember that you are at a disadvantage when it comes to knowing your own self-worth unless you truly take the time to put yourself in "time out" and have to quietly see the whole situation. good luck, and i wish you happiness be it with this or something you have yet to experience! i'll always need a friend, one i can defend. |

The only thing wrong with love is denying yourself the one you really care for, regardless of what your friends and family say. If they deny your love for another person, than they are not you true friends. This is one of the biggest lessons I've learned about friends so far. |
