once upon a time santa met the tooth fairy and cupid pulled his bow in aim and hit the heart of claus in bull's eye-- too deadly accurate for motive to be love... and then the symphony struck chord as cotton candied clouds floated~aloft! held by wires from above and chubby children cherubs pranced the stage with lace-trimmed hearts and sang in chorus: "tra-la-la..." My God. I wanted to believe. something nasty in me snarled as I applauded: "end of play." [This message has been edited by serenity blaze (08-19-2002 09:57 AM).] |

a sad smile here why wasn't the innocence fairy making her/his rounds that day? you wasn't supposed to see the strings! I hope my little girl can stay a kid for longer than she want's to (Only for Daddy's sake, of course ) brian I never aimed at reality; I aimed at truth. --Orson Welles |

Most childhood fancies have strings attached, hm? Even so many years later, I'm fuming over the fact that my parents told me at the same time as they told my brother that Santa Claus didn't exist. He's two years older than me! So I was a poor li'l disillusioned 6-year-old. Don't know if you intended it, but this was cute. i'll be waiting for you |

actually? was just flexing my sarcasm again...smile. I guess I portrayed "trite" too realistically? *chuckle*mutter*migraine* but yes, it was just about the letting go of innocence...and yes, (for all me smart ass friends...I do remember!) |

I figured out that santa didnt exist on my own the stories never added up everyone told a different one. If your afraid of the dark, then why did you come? |
