Tears Are Falling, Again? |

It's to that point of the night, once more Everyday offers something new Experiences, chances... And I think of all that has attempted to be And back to start once again I've done the unthinkable Yet once more My entire essence given as such a simple gift Before, each time has thrown it back to me And tears are falling, again Maybe it's to make me infallible A greater lesson learned through routine Yet, as so oft before, I cry tonight And although this has become my place My "I know it so well" The chemistry of these tears Is yet another new formula In the equation of hurt So many times I've allowed myself To come here and stop That I should be chaperone To knowing all of this But yet again, I suffer amnesia Of a heart's attempt today And the "newness" of it all Helps not to prepare me for the pain, again You put me here by your own inability to see There's a part of you that believes But the bulk of your Lincoln Logs Build but a fort around a heart afraid And indeed you claim an available key To finally unlock all the beauty inside Yet your search refuses to afford You insight that I have been grasping it all along Or all alone... So now, the resin from a gun fired one too many times Begs me to see your shot at my heart miss-fired And I suffer loss of memory once more Does your miscreance of right and wrong Coerce me to aid and abeit Or does the slightest of flint-fires of hope Finally ignite a flame of truth so intense That worldly fears And reached verdicts of alienation Are finally riskable? And just maybe, for the first time In knowing that tears are falling, again You are finally the one That acknowledges me To be who this life has time and again Attempted me to forget I heartfully am. And the "newness" of it all Helps not to prepare me for the pain, again if after this one, your "eternal mark" doesn't come to see, doesn't come to know, doesn't come to want, then indeed the devil must sit in the passenger seat of your automobile... so beautiful, purity. makes me wish i was the one this was for so the response could be the right response. a heartfelt piece from a heartfelt person. more should read and comment.... i'll always need a friend, one i can defend. |

A greater lesson learned through routine. Indeed. Loved the lincoln logs usage. A very deep and insightful poem. Thank you, Purity! "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm |

You can cry the tears for the same reasons, but new hurt will open a wound and it is all a new feeling. beautifully done. Syneq Disintegrated to materialize in reformed delight. |
