A season beyond your kiss a thousand dreams I've seen before me wishes caught in the web of reality willows conceal where I undress my soul to shed the past, leaving behind the whispers with a kiss to the ground, where passion once danced along our flesh, now blood soaked roots rise, trying to claim my breath it was just a season, nothing more a moment caught between here and there while four stars fell to earth in a white hot flash I claimed the heat as my own, and rose rose above you, above the lies ...above the way you pulled me in and let me dangle and now, cutting away the willows drapery ... I see the truth I don't need to get any higher.. my spirit is alive .. my life is my own ... my heart is strong and you were just a season |

DeaDi, I'm glad I stayed up a bit longer to find this. The last stanza is, of course, the point and I loved it. What I love about this poem is how willowy and dense-leaved it is. You really have to pick slowly through the words, and can feel the touch of the tree's curtain on you as you do. AWESOME! (now I need to write a willow poem.  )That is ... aside from this one. She said burn ... together. |

This is one of the best ways that I have encountered in visualizing nature's part of moving onward. I may look to this one specifically when I loose perspective of myself. Thank you Disintegrated to materialize in reformed delight. |
