somebody's dungeon

This is a close
that makes me tremble.
A close that
makes me quake.
Wondering inside if again
my hearts only mistake,
will be to trust
to share my soul
to give my all to one,
who'll take that trust
throw it away
and leave me left undone.

Yet, I'm not moving
still here it is I stand,
hoping as I tremble
that you will understand.

WhiteRose

Pretty sound thoughts if you ask me...I was skeptical to the extreme until I found *the one* so I guess I'm trying to say it's ok to keep your gaurd up...

just let it down when you feel it's worth it!!!

enjoyed your thoughts A...

Just the sight of your username....WhiteRose, illicits so much for me, that my tears continue to fall after reading this beautiful poem! This "close" I totally have a bittersweet friendship with!
And devina...my utmost of awe and congratulatory admiration for your finding "the one"... I too have found this "Close One", but patience makes me wait to see that "the one" comes to know, accept and validate this fact. I will be seeking advisement from you both by reading your future postings!!
