i could die of the dust of the boredom of the everyday things nothing is ever new doesn't blood have to move to stay blue? or maybe i'm different maybe my blood will forever be red but no that couldn't be for that would be new and god forbid there would ever be anything new anything different around here that would last more than a second before dissapearing into the world to go to better places to do better things yet i am stuck here and someday i will bleed my red blood and i will die but things will stay the same in this place that's in denial covered in dust and afraid of change life may just take a while but i guess heaven's worth the wait |

Oh my God... Don't read mine. Gosh, yours turned out so much better. Now, I feel so stupid for writing it... See, my poems always twist into something associating with this one guy, I'm totally in love with ... and it got all messed up ... and I'd feel bad destroying the poem, because it's like a baby... (how many stupid excuses can I come up with) Well, I liked it, and it seems that you've won this challenge ... maybe we'll try this again some time ... it's been fun. Write on! ""doesn't blood have to move to stay blue? or maybe i'm different maybe my blood will forever be red.................. ""yet i am stuck here and someday i will bleed my red blood and i will die but things will stay the same in this place that's in denial covered in dust and afraid of change"" that's what I'm talking about... those parts. This piece reminded me of a line from Fydor Dostoevsky's NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND: "Golden pins are stuck into people's breasts out of boredom. But what's worse? The pins will be welcomed then." Good piece. It brings up an all too familiar rememberance of the boredom this life can have. I love your signature by the way. "I am not alive enough to kill myself." - Mary Ipal |
