This is really, really old. Just can't get it out of my head. Augh, certainly shows where my mind keeps jumping to.

Why did you have to die?
In silence you lived,
now in silence
you lie beneath the ground,
where only the worms and maggots
can talk to you
and you can't talk back.
Because all is still.
Forever.
