I want to make love to you
among flowers and thorns,
so I feel your softness even as I bleed.

I want to kiss your pain away
with the words we speak;
but if I cannot, I want to share that pain.

I long to see your smiling face
clouding in the sky.
So when I'm alone, the rain falls for me.

I long to see your cloudy arms
spread across the sea.
Touch the tips of ships, the tips of waves.

I burn to find the sunlight
across your darkest days.
And to find the moon among your bravest nights.

I need to marry you, Lori,
and always be home.
So husband and wife can learn to laugh and cry.

She said burn ... together.

*thump!*

....

*whimper*

ah know y' warned me, but....

God, I love you.... Meine gute, ich liebe dich, ich brauche dich, ich will dich; immer, fur ewigkeit, und uberall. Ich brenne fur dich, Mikhail. Nie vergessen. *kiss* Or, to stay with that thought... *kuess*

Alles in mein Welt ist gute.

And I turn 19 tomorrow! Yeesh, I is young.

And yr package arrived. And it's longer than my torso! That's almost forbidding... And I still need to sleep. Hm. Maybe I should do that. Since 2 in the afternoon is 2 in the morning in the world of a night-shifter.

Mit all meine Liebe, Mikhail.

Always yours.

Tchus!

Thanks, D.D. Amour. (That reminds me of DeeDee Ramone -- R.I.P!!!)

And baby, that whole post y' sent was beautiful and sexy and ... I laughed out loud when I read that the package is as long as your torso! God, I love you.

Mikhail, fur immer und fur ewig

Aw, c'mon, it's "fur immer und ewig"!   Fur immer und ewig, es ist immer fur dich. If Robert Smith spoke German, he'd be ashamed.

"For always and ever, it's always for you.
Your trust, the most gorgeously stupid thing
I ever cut in the world."

Ah, the romance of Cure.   But the first line is so beautiful...

And gorgeous is another one of his catch words, isn't it?

So...

Christmas.
Kiss.
Fur.
Gorgeous.
An excess of quotes/dialogue.

Anything I'm missing?

Well, mouth and kiss are the same territory. But yeh, cats are there a lot.  I still have this nagging feeling that I'm missing something on the list-o'-Smith.

I mean, I know some albums have their catch words. Like Pornography is caught up on eyes and aging. The Top mentions pigs more often than you'd expect from anyone who isn't Trent Reznor. Stuff like that.

OH! And Robert Smith has said dreary a total of two times (that I noticed), which makes it two more times than I've ever heard anyone else actually seriously use that word. So he's the evil fiend who attached that word to goth in the first place!

Yeah, there's dreary in Prayers for Rain and in Doing the Unstuck (though it's in a positive light: "It's a perfect day for letting go/for setting fire to bridges/boats/and other dreary worlds you know./Let's get happy!"). Maybe more. I will go read allll the lyrics this fine band presents us, and report back. And no, I'm not avoiding sleep, not at all!

Love you, baby.

Good evening.
I read this earlier today before it had any replies at all, and held off my reply out of respect for who it was dedicated to. LOL! I wanted her to have the honor of the first reply. Looks like someone got in there first.

This is a beautiful poem, and a beautiful way of doing such a wonderful thing.

I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement.
