When I look around, I see fear of ground Rushing up to the face Of our great human race. Nobody sees change as a good thing. I hear about how awful Current trends are. I hear the fearful Cries of "care." Change is good if it makes money! "The new age is Attacking us" they All cry - not that they Really know what the new age is... And in the end, they start a new crusade. Of course, it makes some pretty Good money for pockets of petty Men - men who shun the rights Of women, exalting their fights. Gotta make money somehow... Even if it's in the name of god. Except, of course, if you're a Christian. Then you get called "liberal". I guess Christ was too liberal too... |

Wow! This was deep and intellectual. An interesting perception of the new age. What are your true thoughts on the New Age, what you've written, or that somewhere in there, there are truths, though others are STILL making money from them???? Isis: This isn't exactly my take on the new age. It's more my take on people who abuse religion to get what they want. It's mostly about the "Christians" who go on TV trying to sell stupid things like miracle oils and stuff like that. Verve: I'm glad this got your mind churning. |
