You are Gone from me You are gone from me To lie in sands that edge a frozen sea In a far and distant land I must stay and grieve alone Sharing bitter silence with your stone Dying flowers in a shaking hand I must leave you and journey on My life continues ,though yours is gone We are parted, forgive and understand My journey will not be far or long And soon will lie where I belong Beneath those distant sands And all will end as it must Our hearts and bodies turned to dust Joined again in that distant land It is nice here The frozen sea sparkling like fire And the clouds are white There is silence There is only God and you There is a rock And you The soul of my dreams arthur |

Arthur, although this is achingly sad, it is as though the person in this piece has accepted the death of their beloved, knowing the will be together again one day. This has a calming, peaceful effect, in a way, on the reader. Very well done! ~Hugs across the pond~ ~Somewhere in my heart I'm always |

Beautiful work, arthur. I always treasure what you have to say. Mournful and yet, not defeated. These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun. |
