Here's a response to my own poetry challenge... My dark journals I keep sun in my dark journals. It's how I build the night. I keep birds in my dark journals. They never sing in flight. I keep forests in my dark journals. The paths within diminished. I keep words in my dark journals. You wrote some, too. Unfinished. I keep shadows in my dark journals. They seem to write their own forms. I keep rainfall in my dark journals. Uncurled soundrush of storms. I keep the sea in my dark journals. Slowing apex movement. I keep songs in my dark journals. Harmony improvement. I keep tarnish in my dark journals to give your silver dimming light. I keep sadness in my dark journals to leave you seemingly no sight. I keep death in my dark journals. Whether or not you want this pain. I write life in my dark journals. Now you understand my reign. These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun. |

AMAZING. I love your way of writing. But then, a LOT of the work on this forum is simply fantastic. I've come to the right place "The only real blasphemy is the refusal of joy" |

Hmm... Spooky. Dark. Yet when you threatened to write this as Bronwen, I went totally on guard, so I'm disappointed that it didn't turn out dangerous. C'mon, y' can't get an evil idea then not go through with it! "Es ist Folter, aber ich bin fast dort." Robert Smith's Torture in Deutsch. |

Yr heart wasn't in it, huh? Look, I'm still standing on the edge of a poetic writer's block, so we'll see about me tackling this subject once I get my next Kissably chappy off. "Es ist Folter, aber ich bin fast dort." Robert Smith's Torture in Deutsch. |

I wasn't going to read these until I wrote my own answer to the challenge, but I seem to be having a word drought here. I thought the "list type" repetitions very effective, and as ya know, I'm a fan of of your daring imagery...groan...I only THOUGHT I was "blocked" before, now I am intimidated too! sigh much love to the dark genius! |
