Broken hearts and broken dreams Line the path that I'm walking I look back for old times sake But nothing lives behind my wake I look forward and I see light In the dark the moon shines bright Smiling faces in the sun Are omens of what is yet to come But I'm always haunted by the past And the things that wernt meant to last I'll never forget the things I've done But I know my life has just begun |

"wernt" - "weren't" Other than that, awesome read. And no, I'm not risking an elephant attack. It's great to see people who're willing to get up, start over, and live s'more, no matter what they've got left in the past. Something I would love to read again and again. All of us have skeletons in our closets. Question is, are we still gonna call the movers? Excellent. "Hope is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out." |
