Another Anvrill/bsquirrel thingie. Moon of two The dark is thirsty, my love. I wonder if you dare to quench it? Will you drink my shadow shape as though it were a cooling drink? Tease your fingers in the sea of my salt and tide? Break the glass in celebration upon my ship's side? With every kiss, will you swallow me whole? Let the entire night then drown with you. Can we writhe in these black waters together? Slowly, so slowly, running out of breath. Put the moon on a spoon ... swallow its white light. Put ourselves upon the moon and stay up all night. Become the reflection of light in a darkened sky, hold out your finger -- your rays of white. We can touch the earth now, if we want. Your gravity makes my tide. Rise. Oh drown the shore of I. |

I am now going into denial about having had any part in writing that. It was all you, baby, all you! Yeh. Feel my angsty reachiness! |

I find it funny that when you announce in the title, basically, it will be much read... No one does. Nice goin', Mr. Mope. "Sooner or later, they'll never grow up." -Jim Steinman (unreleased and almost completely unheard, but hey) |

squirrel dude, Is it like bad manners to comment on a moderators' post?? You know, like tipping the bar owner? If so, I never said how much I like this piece, and will deny it, if pressed. ~wranx "Writing is a perfectly natural thing to do....just remember to wash your hands afterward"....Heinlein. |

'Put ourselves upon the moon and stay up all night. Become the reflection of light in a darkened sky, hold out your finger -- your rays of white. We can touch the earth now, if we want. Your gravity makes my tide.' This is some awesome writing, Mike...I am amazed by the imagery in this...truly a brilliant poem! sp I've been down this road forever, |

I notice when the males respond, they mostly just acknowledge Mike... So thank you, Devina! I exist again. I feel all warm and fuzzy. Whoah. Now maybe Mike won't have to use subliminal messaging in his poetry. And I just realized that the first poem we wrote together (this year; we had a spree two years back, and it was very filled with sex and/or lovey dovey stuff, which is quite the combination) was all foom with the fire and the burning (may Roman Dirge forgive me!), and the second was all sploosh with the water and the drowning. Now we just need earth and air, and we're ready. (Oh, and Kris, thank you also for acknowledging my existence in the creation of this piece. I really do like existing. ) "Sooner or later, they'll never grow up." -Jim Steinman (unreleased and almost completely unheard, but hey) |
