As I whimper, moan and complain over the fact that no one read Violence of Music, my most favoritest lyrical thingamabobber ever written by me... I'll put up what used to be my favorite set of lyrics. Written the day before my 17th birthday while I was working at my dad's office (THE most boring summer work ever). I was doing mindless copying of papers at this engineering firm, and something that said "corrosive angle" got type "corrosive angel". I just knew I had to write it! And here it is. (And no, my squirrely-boy Mike should not be worried that I write things like this starring a "she". It's just that "she" is sexier!)
Feel my angsty reachiness! |

I like yr subtlely for getting people to read you. And I love this poem. No duh "she" is sexier. That's why I usually hide behind the pronoun She when I'm writing about myself in poetry. Shhhh, don't tell. These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun. |

Cool indeed. Sexier indeed. But... I think I may have once married this Angel of yours...Did she ever dance in a cage? ~wranx "Writing is a perfectly natural thing to do....just remember to wash your hands afterward"....Heinlein. |
